News from Live For Him Ministries Children's Academy
Presently, there are 295 children and 12 teachers at the Live For Him Ministries Children's Academy. Each one receives a noon meal every school day.
Fifteen students will be receiving scholarships to attend secondary school.
Forty-four students are preparing for their national examinations in November. They are sleeping at the school on mats laid out on dirt floors. It is our goal to raise enough money to purchase bunk beds with mattresses and to add cement floors.

Live For Him Ministries Feeds Hundreds of Students
The Generous Support of Many Is Making Dreams Come True
In December 2023, the Live For Him Ministries Board dreamed of providing support for a school in Bulgiri, Uganda. Thanks to the generous gifts of people, that dream has become a reality. The Live For Him Ministries Children's Academy is now helping 300 children by serving a noon meal for all the students, offering scholarships to fifteen secondary school students, and making a small stipend possible for the teachers. Thank you to all who have given of their resources.

Our History
Live For Him Ministries grew out of a mission trip that Rev. John and Julie Battern took to Africa in the fall of 2021. Since that time, John has been teaching pastors in Uganda, Kenya, Malawi, Tanzania, and Zambia via the web. Along with some mission minded friends, Live For Him Ministries was founded in 2023 in order to further the scope and reach of training and equipping disciples in Africa.
